I'll be performing today in another "Big Show" for The Young Storyteller's Foundation mentees at New Roads Elementary School. The actors show up, are cast in scripts written by the children and perform on the spot. It's hilarious, touching, amazing and uber "in the moment" creative. The children's stories have been written over a 6 week period of time under the guidance of a mentor provided by The Young Storyteller's Foundation. You can't believe some of the stories these kids come up with. The stories tend to be (1) wildly imaginative/fantasy stories or (2) somewhat influenced by real events/people in their lives combined with handy magical powers. I love them. Watch for pictures tomorrow here and on Facebook fan page. ;-))

Great rehearsal last night for webseries pilot that we shoot on Sunday. French director. Outstanding cast & crew. We laughed and laughed and laughed. Funniest character in the episode? I think it's "MoonPie" lol... On the drive home I realized we'll be shooting outside on Sunday. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.... time to stop by Big Five Sporting Goods for the hand and feet warmers. ;-))
This is a great dinner party question. Comes up a few times a year. The only answer I've ever been able to come up with is, "It was just inevitable. I couldn't not be one. Every time I try to be normal it's just too painful." LOL... true.
Hey there. Nice to see you again.
This is where I'll post news about my acting and producing career. I've been transitioning from theater to film for a few years and lemmme tell ya -- it hasn't been easy for me. For some actors it's an easy transition. Yeah, them! For me, not so much. Never one to shy away from a challenge -- welcome to the adventure. ;-)) |
